Come, Sable Night

May 2022

Come, Sable Night is the first recording of the group since the COVID-19 pandemic. The CD highlights the choir's emergence from the pandemic, including repertoire ranging from madrigals to more modern secular works. 

Lowly Life, Unfading Love

April 2018

The CD was recorded at the end of the 2017-18 academic year, and includes a wide range of famous choral works and madrigals. These pieces were then taken on the group's summer tour across the UK.

1946

February 2016

1946 was recorded to celebrate the group's 70th Anniversary. It highlights the expansion of the choir's repertoire, including folk music and madrigals.

Draw on Sweet Night

April 2013

One of the first CD recordings done by the group, Draw on Sweet Night focuses on the staples of Madrigal Group's repertoire, including works by Orlando Gibbons and John Wilbye.

Now is the Month of Maying

April 2006

Now is the Month of Maying was recorded to celebrate the group's 60th anniversary, and boasts the largest programme of all the CDs. Pieces range from Stanford's Three Motets Opus 38 to madrigals written by Madrigal Group's founder: Evelyn Webb.
